#TheWorldNeedsMoreLove Campaign: Help Me Reach 50,000 Views by #LOVEanon's 2nd Anniversary on August 27

Saba7o LOVEanese! Today, I am excited to launch a social media campaign--all for the sake of love. Almost 2 years ago, when I started LOVEanon, I never imagined it would become (what I consider) so successful. Of course, the first thing I must say is: thank you. For helping it to become such a success, and for reading and sharing.

But we have so much to do. And that's why I'm calling on you. In 27 days, LOVEanon will be 2 years old. I started it on August 27, 2011, and have since amassed 54 posts and almost 40,000 page views. What I need from you though is this: let's hit 50,000 views by August 27! I think we can do it, but I need your help. Share the page on Facebook, Google+, and e-mail. Tweet it, submit to StumbleUpon, post on LinkedIn, share it with your mom, dad, sister, brother, aunt,
uncle, your teta! Talk about it in person, even!

And that's not all. Given everything that's going on in the Middle East and in the world, I think it's time we had more love. So, similar to the Iran Loves Israel/Israel Loves Iran campaign (you can watch the really heartwarming TED talk here), over the next 25 days, I want to show how love is alive and well by posting photos of happy couples from Lebanon, the Middle East, and throughout the world.

What I need from you!

If you have a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, partner, or someone else that you are in love with, send me a photo of you together to: LOVEanonBlog@gmail.com along with:

1. Your names
2. The city(s)/country(s) you live in
3. How long you've been together
4. 3-5 sentences about your love story (how you met, why it's special, what you love about each other, etc.)

I'll then post it to the LOVEanon Facebook Page and on Twitter at: @MikeOghia with a hashtag. A first, I thought it should be about Lebanon specifically. But because I know that many people read/follow the blog from outside of Lebanon, I also will Tweet/post with the hashtag: #TheWorldNeedsMoreLove. So, no matter where you are, if you're in love and follow the blog, let's do what I've been trying to do for almost 2 years now: spread the love!

-Ogie, MA

P.S. And a HUGE thanks for all of your continued support, and for reading. I really do appreciate it so much!
